Ehh...

Well, believe it or not, I AM still here. I just have no idea what to post anymore. We are moving in about three weeks. People are people (which isn't fair. Why can't they be something else?). Life is life.

I need to go riding again. I have had a couple of dates set up, but they got rained out. It looks like I am not going to be able to ride again for a few months. ='(

I am going to the barn on Friday next week, but not to ride. But I should be content with that.

Actually, I made a visit to a horse farm the other day, just to get a feel for how they run, what they do, etc. They lease horses for free and I signed a free lease form for them. I may be getting a horse from them someday, however, I am not sure. We have to move first and get fencing and a run-in-shed up. I hope to have a horse by Christmastime. But that might be hoping for too much. =\

Other than that, there really isn't much to say. We're packing and getting ready to move. But yeah. So that's all I can think of to say for now. Maybe I'll be coherent enough to write something later.

Give me a break because I haven't been riding in 2 1/2 weeks. I am NOT going to have anything coherent probably for a while. =P

And for my countdown...

146 days, 10 hours, 12 minutes until Christmas eve...

Rainy days

'Tis raining again. And I am a little gloomy. So I'm posting a few pics that make me happy.

Vacation

Well, I have one more week until I am off on vacation. I am going to visit my sister and brother-in-law and help out with my niece for two weeks. Then when I get back I have one day to get laundry done and pack before camp. I am SO excited about camp. Then we're going to be getting ready to move, hopefully.

Wednesday, provided it doesn't rain, I'm taking my little brother out to go riding with me. I'm excited about taking him. I've decided to do something different for my birthday this year. I'm going to get everyone else cards and maybe presents (ha ha ha, where's the money for that?). Anyway, yup. My birthday is gonna be different. Not too much going for it. So I'm looking forward to surprising my little brother with a riding lesson. I get to ride, too. I haven't told him yet, because every time we try to put this together, it rains. So I'm gonna tell him Tuesday night, so he doesn't get disappointed. =)

Anyway, this is life.

The sun is shining.

The sun is shining. The flowers are blooming. The trees have leaves again. The bushes, too. The birds are singing. The bees and bugs are out (much to my dismay). I think spring has arrived. =\

I am not really one for spring or summer. But this year, I think I'm okay with it. I am sooo sick of the clouds and rain and brown leaves and mud. I am ready for it to be warm (but not hot!) and sunny again. I am happy the sun is out. God is good. =)

Dreary mood

I really like this photo because the blurriness matched my mood when I took it. It was rainy, and cloudy, and my mind was blurry. But I love how you can still see the curiosity in her eye. =)

Some random weather makes for some fun, pretty shots.

I really love the first one, but I like them all. =)

I'm an aunt threes times over(or is that removed???)

Well, my brother and sister-in-law have had their second baby. A baby girl. So I guess that's the "big" news around here.

I was going to go riding today. It was going to be a really fun dressage lesson! I actually got out to the barn, but it started raining. So I ended up just hanging out with the wet horses and drinking(hahaha another pun, they just PLAY out of my mouth!) their wet smell in. The best horses to kiss are the wet, smelly ones. ;-D

I got some pictures and I got my camera back, so I will try to upload some pictures soon.

I am loving the rain on the window

Yes, they're pretty awful, but that's what I get for not spending $3000 on the camera(not to mention my photography skills are horrible).

A wow.

I'm actually having a good day today!

I just found out that I only have eight weeks left in Spanish, not twelve. I'm ecstatic!

Aaannnd, we have an inch and a half of snow! I've been out sledding, getting some bruises. Okay, well the first couple aren't snow, but I liked the rain on the window last week...

No, actually, I couldn't get her to go down the hill, but at least I got the picture. Training your dog to stay pays off...
White nose!!!

Rain, rain, go away...

I really hate rain.

It makes me feel sad and seems to drain me of energy.

And, yet, at the same time, it makes me inspired. I have no idea why. It's just an inspiring thing. It makes me think about God more. It makes me think about a lot of things.

I want to go riding again. I miss being around horses. It's pretty wet, though. And I was supposed to go with a friend.

Perhaps, people can't understand this, but for me, horses are very therapeutic. They just have something that nothing and no one else can give me. There's something special about each and every one of them. And each of them understands a different way. But, no matter how they respond, somehow I just know that they do. I can't really explain it. It's just so real and special. I really want a horse. No, let me rephrase that.

I really need a horse.

There's something awesome about riding in the rain. I've never ridden in pouring rain, but I have ridden in rain. I also really want to ride in the snow.

But I'm actually going to go hang out a barn tomorrow. I'm not riding, but I'm going to muck stalls, maybe clean tack, clean stuff, and maybe even groom some horses. I'm so excited. I can't wait to go. I'm also bringing carrots for them. And maybe apples. They'll be following me around like puppy dogs.

They'll love me forever. Maybe. I've never met these horses. I guess I will see. I'll be bringing my camera.
